Music Skills Workshop etc.

Just a quick note to let you know that a beginners Music Skills workshop is planned for Wednesday March 8th, time and place to be determined. Topics include the basics of reading a score, rhythm, and common musical definitions. Check yourself in on the sign-up sheets tomorrow. Pay what you can at whatever door it’s going to be but if you can part with $10, that would be nice.

Speaking for myself, I could use a refresher. Though schooled by nuns who regarded music as necessary as food and having endured 4 years of piano lessons (I vastly preferred goofing off with my buddies), considerable dust has settled on my youthful training and I look forward to this remedial opportunity. It’s fun to look stoopid with your friends. Don’t be shy now.

Reminder that Caroline, goddess of caffeine, will have some fresh java awaiting you tomorrow. $2/cup or simply $10 for the term. Please bring your own non-spill container for that, and all, beverages.

And, if your find yourself troubled by extra funds crowding your change purse, liberate yourself by burdening Tom, our tireless Treasurer, with a contribution to the choir. anything you care to give will be gratefully received and also goes towards subsidizing those who truly cannot manage it.
Give it up for a great cause – you and your choir!

You guys rock.
