Hamilton Sings Update – Nov. 25

Greetings Fellow Performers

Please be advised that tomorrow after practice you are all invited to an informal social in the downstairs lounge, Bring hand-held snacks to share, a beverage, and a winning smile for that interesting looking fellow choir member you haven’t yet had the opportunity to meet. Be bold. Be brave. Be fun!

Next Saturday Dec 3rd we mark the conclusion of our fall term with a Mini-concert, bake/craft sale, and Xmas singalong. Invite your family, friends, heck, even your enemies will be won over by the quality of your choir work and baking efforts. Make sure you price your goods and don’t hesitate to contribute other items for sale if baking isn’t your forte.

Also, you java hounds, make sure you bring your own fix as Caroline will be unable to make coffee for us tomorrow.

Hamilton Sings Update – Nov. 11

Greetings Fellow Serenaders
As I sit here yawning over my morning coffee, I can’t help but think of the better coffee our java mistress Caroline thoughtfully provides every Saturday. We’re talking Fair Trade Rwandan from the local Vintages Coffee Cafe – $1.50 a cup or $10 a term. Sleep no more.
Caroline also has a green thumb and asks that you email her at if you are interested in joining her gardening group.
The blueberries are coming! This Saturday is your last chance to order a (or several) 2 kg bags of sublime, wild, Nova Scotian, frozen berries – a deal at $20/bag. Think muffins, smoothies, cobblers – the list goes on. Bring your cash or cheque and sign up tomorrow. Delivery date is Saturday November 19th at noon.
Tentative date to remember: Saturday November 26th, Choir Social at noon after practice. Think pot luck except the company and food will be better .Bring a snack to share and meet that person who’s voice you’ve heard but haven’t met yet. Speaking as an alto, I’ve often found that tenors have interesting ideas – but you judge for yourself. What fun!
Dec 3 Mini-concert, Bake/Craft Sale and Sing Along. Bring your priced baked goods, crafted works, and dare to re-gift that item sitting in your closet. We’ll warm up our vocal instruments at 10 a.m., concert at 10:30 a.m.,sale commences at 11:00 a.m, and we’ll wander around with our invited friends and family, carol books in hand, and sing to and with everyone.
Get your groove on by checking out the Drakensberg Boy’s Choir rendition of Amavolovolo on the Hamilton Sings web site private member’s page. Password is sings2016.
